Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Technical Data Developer 3 for the USPS Proposal. This will be a remote role.
Responsibilities
The Technical Data Developer oversees a team of TDDs that creates and/or revises standardized material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, installation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and other equipment and building assets.
- This worker receives technical direction from supervisor or senior TDDs and writers, notes or manuals containing operating procedures and details manufacturer's catalogs, drawings and other data relative to operation, maintenance, and service of equipment.
- This worker will also have access to blueprints, sketches, drawings, parts lists, specifications, mockups, and product samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail.
- This worker organizes material and completes writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology, may maintain records and files of work and revisions, select photographs, drawings, sketches, 123 diagrams, and charts to illustrate material, assist in laying out material for publication and distribution of material.
- Assist in writing articles and newsletter releases, and specializes in developing technical material regarding work methods and procedures on equipment and assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related studies with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
- Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Pay range: $80,000 - $89,981 Annually
