Responsibilities
Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. They have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business and the IT needs of that customer. Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flows. May also be functional experts in financial, program control or logistical areas.
- Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
- Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end-users within an organization.
- Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out.
- Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage.
- Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
- BS. in Business Analytics/Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent work experience (Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, related field experience, or both.)
- Active Secret clearance
- Proven track record of leading and supporting profitable projects with little to no supervision needed.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- System Integration, SDLC including Agile,
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
- Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
- Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view.
- 5+ Years experience of success within a Business Analyst role, website or software development industry experience a plus.
- Excellent business acumen developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Strong collaborative leader with interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to execute plans to migrate legacy applications from full-stack environments providing DevSecOps using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Continuous ATO (cATO) with built-in Cyber Security.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (MS Project for scheduling) and Visio.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills including adaptability to present to diverse audiences.
