GovCIO is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team-oriented, customer-focused Contracts and Procurement Team.  GovCIO is a full-service information technology and enterprise service management provider.  For more than 30 years, we have been entrusted with providing the U.S. government and partner nations mission-critical support for their complex requirements.  This includes cyber operations, network engineering, software development, C5ISR, mission services, and sustainment solutions for federal Health, Civilian, Veteran, and Department of Defense agencies, as well as commercial customers.  Headquartered in Washington D.C, with global reach, we have recruited over 2600 personnel operating in 195 locations worldwide.  This Contracts Administrator position will perform in a remote capacity, with occasional travel to corporate and/or customer locations.

Responsibilities

Perform contract administration and proposal activities supporting GovCIO’s National Security Sector, a portfolio focused on business held with various Department of Defense agencies. 

 

Administer and support negotiation of standard and nonstandard contracts, to include examination of requirements, analysis of terms and conditions, and evaluation of risk.  Support acquisition activities, to include assessment of requirements, proposal preparation, and submissions.  Draft, issue, review, and maintain contractual instruments such as Non-Disclosure, Teaming, and Subcontract Agreements.  Regularly interface with internal and external stakeholders regarding contract administration, proposal, and business needs, providing for proper and timely fulfillment of assigned duties.

 

Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, and negotiation.  Prepare and process specification, progress, and other reports.  Advise management of contractual rights and obligations.  Compile and analyze data, as well as maintain contractual files and historical information.

 

Monitor and administer contracts for conformance with requirements.  Maintain review to ensure that terms and conditions are being met, and that contracts are operating & delivering in accordance with contractual specifications, legal requirements, and government regulations, to specifically include applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) clauses.

 

Key Duties:

Administer and analyze contracts, requirements, special provisions, and terms & conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures.  Review solicitations and support responses for proposals and associated contract acquisition activities.  Draft and negotiates contractual instruments commensurate with skills and grade level.  Interface with internal and external representatives on issues and developments relative to assigned contracts and tasks.  Prepare, organize and maintain contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.  

Qualifications

Required Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-5 years of federal contracting experience
  • Administration of government contracts in a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor capacity, to specifically include contracts issued by Department of Defense agencies
  • Support of government proposals and associated contract acquisitions
  • Preparation, review, analysis, and negotiation of contractual documentation and instruments
  • Communication and interface with government contracting office personnel regarding matters of contract administration
  • Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR)

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Exports/Export Control and associated administration

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $60,000 - $80,000 Annually
