Responsibilities
Consults with customer to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation. Prepares design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs and construction time data. Plans layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design. Prepares scale drawing and contract for contractors. Conducts observations of work during construction to monitor compliance with specifications. Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software.
- Draft designs and ensure that the designs are used in the real construction work.
- Coordination with construction and procurement to interpret drawings, specs, and design documents.
- Plan, design, and supervise building constructions.
- Track and report work progress as well as communicate progress to stakeholders and program office.
- May draw up a budget on behalf of the client.
Primary Responsibilities: Cybersecurity
- Turning cybersecurity needs and capabilities into requirements and detailed technical solutions.
- Developing and maintaining a list of Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Analyzing cybersecurity best practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Developing and publishing baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure capabilities are in compliance with cybersecurity directives and policies.
- Conducting critical path analysis, risk analysis, and task dependency analysis.
- Developing security requirements and constraints to provide input to foundational technical documents, including program architectural artifacts, business cases, and concept of operations.
- Developing assessment criteria (metrics, measures, key performance indicators) for security requirements and implementation guidance.
- Coordinating involvement in cybersecurity exercises.
- Participating in external cybersecurity related governance, policy, and standards bodies.
- Evaluating existing and emerging technologies and recommend strategies to support mission requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s with 2 – 5 years (or commensurate experience)
- Active TS/SCI with Poly
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in cybersecurity responsibility areas listed above.
- BS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology is desired.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, ability to consistently provide high-quality products that are concise, thorough, and accurate.
- Ability to adapt in response to shifts in customer priorities.
- Requires BS and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Working in the IC is a plus.
