Responsibilities:
Work within the specialized teams to help the Agile Teams conducting software development, operations and testing communicate better and stay informed of each other’s work progress or updates. Understand the needs of Agile teams and identify manual processes that can be automated by building software and tools (such as CI/CD tool chains). Automate manual processes in the software development, build and testing lifecycle to reduce user errors and improve the Agile teams’ overall experience. Build procedures to troubleshoot and more effectively maintain and fix the products and software systems. Work to strengthen the knowledge and communications between the development and operations teams to increase the overall efficiencies of product releases. Main duties include launching product updates, locating production errors and issues and building integrations that improve users’ experience. Balance several roles in the development process, including computer coding, testing and deployment. Guide Agile teams in designing, building, testing and deploying changes to existing software. Requires knowledge and experience in Agile DevOps tools and environments such as AWS Cloud, Google Cloud, Azure (multi-cloud preferred), Kubernetes, CI/CD Jenkins and Spinnaker, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, GitLab, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience) and 12 years experience.
