Responsibilities
- Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets
- Define and document asset tracking processes, policies, procedures, and knowledge articles, and ensure compliance across the organization
- Ensure all hardware assets are recorded, tracked, and reported
- Manage the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding warranties for the organization’s hardware assets
- Integrate asset management with additional business functions and systems
- Implement and follow best practices for asset and risk assessment
- Manage, develop, and direct the work of Asset Management staff members
- Monitor vendor, industry trends and operations; assess the impact asset management has on the organization
- Ensure standard requirements, responsibilities and expectations are met, and escalate all non-standard or out-of-scope customer requests for LOE assessment and approval before taking action
- Document internal controls to properly secure and account for computer assets to prevent theft or misplacement
- Report equipment stock status, discrepancies, and potential asset shortages to ensure accurate and timely order and receipt of needed assets
- Ensure weekly physical inventories are completed, gap analyses conducted, and all gaps remediated for all sites
- Update, communicate, and ensure compliance of process changes as customer needs and direction adjust
- Ensure timely equipment preparation to fulfill Service Requests within agreed timelines, and timely and accurate order processing
- Continuously review and maintain inventory record accuracy
- Review and assign tickets and/or tasks for timely completion; monitor progress and ensure tickets and tasks meet performance metrics
Qualifications
- High School with 3 – 6 years (or commensurate experience)
- Minimum 5 years’ staff management experience in a corporate environment
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT hardware asset management; project management and IT procurement experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and possess the capability to drive change
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
- Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and be able to handle pressure
- Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and coworkers is crucial
- Must be a problem solver and innovator. Must possess strong computer skills – proficient in Excel to analyze large volumes of data. Experience with statistical analysis a plus.
- Some moderately heavy lifting (computers, monitors, printers, etc.) is required
- Must be able to acquire Public Trust Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or information technology is desired
Work Environment
The job is performed indoors in an office setting. Extended periods of sitting while using a computer are common, as are lengthy walking commutes between 5 large inter-connected buildings. Some travel to other sites may be required.
This position is on-site 5 days a week

Compensation Range (In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for remote or positions located in CO)
$90.000-100,000
