Responsibilities
In support of O&M for the USAID Information Technology Infrastructure and Systems (ITIS) program, the Information Assurance Technical Service Delivery Manager (IA SDM) leads all information assurance activities, including IT security operations and administration (SecOps), and oversees the Security Operations Center (SOC). Through SecOps, the IA SDM manages maintenance of security toolset used by Computer Security Incident Repose Teams (CSIRT) and the SOC. The IA SDM monitors and ensures compliance with laws and policies as directed by IA Division including those set forth in ADS 545 and ADS 508. They validate security controls and develop the security documentation.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
- Active secret clearance
- Minimum of five years experience working in the field of cybersecurity compliance and successfully completed and achieved ATO approval for several systems
- Experienced ISSO working with multiple system Security and Assessment Authorization documentation including SSP, FIPS199, PIA, Risk assessment, etc.
- Experience working with NIST 800-53, FIPS 199, and NIST RMF and cloud platforms such AWS and Azure.
- Experience running vulnerability and compliance scans using Nessus.
- Experience conducting security control assessments using NIST SP 800-53Rev 5.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and being a self-starter.
Preferred qualifications:
- One or more cybersecurity-related technology certifications.
- Experience with High Value Asset (HVA) systems.
- Experience with DevSecOps.
- Experience in securing large PII data holdings across multiple types of security boundaries.
