The GovCIO Marketing intern will be based remotely and support marketing initiatives of the organization. 


In this role you will assist with supporting the delivery of various marketing projects. This 10-week internship offers hands-on experience for learning and professional growth in a fast-paced environment.



  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital and print.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Create and curate content for social media platforms, blog posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of marketing events, including webinars, conferences, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
  • Support the marketing team in administrative tasks, such as maintaining databases, organizing files, and scheduling meetings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing to contribute fresh ideas and insights.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Able to work up to 20 hours/week Monday - Friday from 06/03/2024 – 08/12/2024
  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Possess an inclusive mindset when considering other’s viewpoints and the ability to interact and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to excellence
  • Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident

Posted Pay Range


The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $20 Hourly
