Responsibilities

  • Develop technical solution designs and implementation plans and take full ownership of the Dynamics 365 solution
  • Gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on client’s architectural and business needs
  • Analyze existing system architecture, develop/validate the as-is architecture
  • Assess and understand the current roadmap, milestones, technologies and conceptual solution options
  • Collaborate with PM, Stakeholders, and Technical SMEs to evaluate how to transition core business functions to MS Dynamics platform
  • Conduct proofs of concepts, develop recommendations including cost/benefit analysis
  • Prepare assessment and ensure consistency and alignment with overall PBGC strategic business vision
  • Develop and present briefings to senior management / customer stakeholders
  • Develop and recommend roadmaps, implementation strategies and high level plans for transitioning business functions from legacy to modernized MS Dynamics solution
  • Relay of the solution design to the development team and provide technical guidance during development of the solution to the development team.
  • Enhance efficiency of development, testing and release process; develop tools and frameworks to ensure robust and high-quality delivery of Dynamics 365 Implementations
  • Document technical risks and issues, and actively work to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks and technical debt
  • Use the Agile software development process and DevSecOps tools. Support the Agile ceremonies including the daily standup, user story development, grooming and prioritization, sprint planning, release planning and retrospectives.
  • Conduct code reviews for adherence to technical specifications, security policy, data standards, and for interoperability and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s with 15+ years (or commensurate experience)
  • 15+ years of experience in software development, with current experience in MS Dynamics, D365 platform, Azure Service Bus and Azure Cloud
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a senior software developer, solution architect and or an enterprise systems architect
  • Power Apps Portal (5+ years)
  • Power Apps/Dynamics 365 Government Cloud (5+ years)
  • Power Automate (5+ years)
  • Azure Integration Services including logic apps, service bus, api gateway, etc.(5+ years)
  • Azure AD and Office 365 (5+ years)
  • Power BI – reporting (2+ years
  • SSIS / Kingswaysoft – data migration software (2+ years)
  • Demonstrate experience in many technologies such as:
    • MS Dynamics Power Apps Portals
    • MS Azure DevSecOps
    • IBM FileNet
    • SharePoint development (.NET)
    • Mongo DB (no SQL databases)
    • Data analytics (Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
    • Oracle WebLogic 14c/Oracle 19C DB
    • J2EE, Spring/Hibernate
    • Angular
    • Agile software methodology
  • Demonstrate breadth and depth of IT experience to solve complex business problems that reduce cost, risk and avoid technology obsolescence
  • Demonstrate experience in developing conceptual solutions, recommendations, briefings to management and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and collaboration skills. Individuals will work with account teams to drive opportunity to closure.
  • Good written and communication skills. Being a high energy individual with a good sense of humor is also advantageous, together with aptitude to problem solve and ability to map customer business problems to pragmatic end-to-end technology solutions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master Degree in IT or a related field
  • Certifications of proficiency in Microsoft Azure 
  • Certified scrum master / PMP
