GovCIO is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) technical architect to support software application modernization and ongoing enhancements to a Federal Government agency’s customer relationship management (CRM) system. GovCIO is performing these services under as a prime contractor under a multi-year contract. The application is hosted in Azure Gov Cloud. The system is integrated with on-prem business applications and other external Government services including Login.Gov. Therefore, a deep experience in D365, Azure Service Bus and related MS tools is key to successful execution of the objectives.






The technical architect’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide technical leadership to a team of approximately 10 D365 developers and configuration experts. This includes to advise the team and the customer of impacts and best practices that will lead to the best solutions for the business requirements.
  • Architect, design, develop, support testing, and deploy functionality enhancements and UI/UX improvement to the internal CRM system and to the MS portal application supporting the customer’s public facing website.
  • Use the Agile software development process and DevSecOps tools. Support the Agile ceremonies including the daily standup, user story development, grooming and prioritization, sprint planning, release planning and retrospectives.
  • Participate in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
  • Conduct code reviews for adherence to technical specifications, security policy, data standards, and for interoperability and scalability.



Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s with 15+ years of experience in software development, with current experience in MS Dynamics, D365 platform, Azure Service Bus and Azure Cloud
  • Dynamics 365 CRM – primary call center application and platform (5+ years)
  • SSIS / Kingswaysoft – data migration software (2+ years)
  • InGenius – telephony – Connector IVR connects Cisco Finesse with Dynamics 365 (5+ years)
  • – multi-factor authentication for self-service (2+ years)
  • Azure B2C – authorization of authenticated customers into Azure / D365 (5+ years)
  • Power Apps portal (previously known as Dynamics 365 Portals) – customized app dev, self-service portal site platform (5+ years)
  • Dataverse – cross platform data aggregation service (2+ years)
  • Azure GCC – Government Community Cloud (GCC Moderate) – (5+ years)
  • Azure Commercial Cloud – (5+ years)
  • Power BI – reporting (2+ years)








 Salary: $155,000 – 195,000
