Overview
Responsibilities
- Analysis, design, testing and deployment of Active Directory, Azure AD & Domain Controllers
- Design and implement a scalable and secure Active Directory infrastructure
- Tier 3 level troubleshooting including diagnosing complex replication and multi domain issues
- Provide technical support for authentication and authorization processes, including password management and securit
- Create and manage group policies to enforce security and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and resolve Active Directory-related performance issues.
- Develop detailed architecture, standards, design, and implementation documentation
- Document and update judiciary Active Directory processes and procedures.
- Analyze current Active Directory Security Baseline deployments to identify both technical and operational challenges while making recommendations and developing solutions for improvement
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Active Directory with other systems and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Active Directory technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 10 years or (commensurate experience) or Master’s degree and 7 years of experience
10+ years of experience in Active Directory migrations, design, and implementations VMWare and Microsoft Certifications (MCSA 2012, MCITP-SA or EA 2008) are a must. Solid experience working with large complex Active Directory Migrations as a Sr. Migration Engineer Advanced knowledge in AD architecture and infrastructure (LDAP, Directory Replication, group policy, security, schema changes, Domain Controllers management) Advanced knowledge of DNS, Kerberos, Windows Authentication and Single Sign On (SSO) Knowledge of Microsoft Certificate Services / PKI infrastructure Advance knowledge of Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge Good understanding of business issues and technical solutions encountered during the migration of single forest or multi-forest Active Directory environments Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills related to Application remediation A proven track record of executing on successful Active Directory migrations s for customers, prospects, or clients Strong learning aptitude and ability to learn new technologies independently Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects Must be Self-motivated and passionate Must have excellent organizational and time management skills Positive attitude towards change and ability to adapt Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of management as well as customers Knowledge of identity life cycle onboarding and offboarding processes Clearance Required: Must be able to successfully acquire and maintain a US Courts public trust
- Microsoft certifications, such as MCSA or MCSE, are a plus
- Application development concepts related to ADDS integration and authentication including LDAP, LDS, and ADFS
- Working knowledge of Quest Migration Manager for AD preferred
Knowledge of Identity & Access Management concepts is a plus Knowledge of ADFS, MFA and SSO is a plus

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Pay range: $100,000 - $120,000 Annually
