Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Naval Diesel Engine Mechanical Instructor to support our Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) Educational Support Services (ESS) effort. This position will be located in Jubail, KSA and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

The Instructor/Trainer will provide RSNF personnel training on shipboard diesel engines mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance procedures relating to RSNF naval shipboard engineering systems

 

- Deliver, instruct, and facilitate instructor-led basic and advanced diesel engine training.

- Subject matter expert in preventive maintenance in naval shipboards engineering related to diesel engines.

 Support and provide input to the RSNF ESS courseware development team to ensure current and updated training materials.

- Implement RSNF student critiques into RSNF ESS training materials, as required.

- Prepare RSNF ESS Lesson Plans (LP) and ensure all Terminal and Enabling Objectives are effectively trained.

- Utilize RSNF ESS PowerPoint Presentations, Job Sheets, and visual aids to support the learning retention of RSNF students.

- Administer and grade RSNF ESS tests and exams.

- Qualify new RSNF instructors as required.

Qualifications

BS and 2-5 years experience or commensurate

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field AND three (3) years’ experience instructing students in military programs - OR – five (5) years’ experience instructing students in military programs and certified as a military training specialist. 

Shall have professional knowledge of Navy Training Management theories, policies, principles, procedures, and techniques.

Shall be Saudi national.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

 

- Retired RSNF Warrant Officer with at least six (6) years onboard ship.

- Proficient in in speaking and understanding the English language.

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $61,850 - $97,950 Annually
