GovCIO is looking for a Program Analyst to join our team. The role is part of Department Veteran Affairs (VA) Infrastructure Operations. Providing data call, and action item support, Administrative support, and data management to executives and stakeholders of the organization. 

  • Provide administrative support to increase the efficacy of the VA leaders and team by  documenting meeting minutes, providing editorial support (e.g. Content QA/QC)
  • curate SharePoint and Teams content, providing Office Suite support/expertise to work efficiently (e.g. Word Content Table editing, Pivot Tables, Advanced features)
  • Executive level Action Tracking/Task Coordination. 
  • Knowledge of business workflow processes
  • Manage IT intake process  
  • Draft executive summaries, white papers, and memorandums as directed by the office senior executives
  • Support special assignments as assigned.



Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of experience
  • The applicant should have at least 5 years of experience in communications, planning, and leadership support, preferably within the Federal workspace.
  • The candidate must possess strong communication (oral/written) skills and strong organization skills.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and, Acrobat Professional, MS SharePoint, and Visio.
  • Ability to write clear and concise correspondence.
  • Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret complex information, communications and data.
  • Ability to think out of the box while communicating or dealing with a variety of situations.
  • A clear understanding of the activities, roles, and responsibilities involved in Federal consulting engagements.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • VA Experience
  • Proficient in creating Pivot tables
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, focus areas PowerPoint Mail Merging 
  • Knowledge of  Jira 
  • Experience supporting senior leadership of a large IT organization/Fortune 10 companies
  • IT portfolio management
