Responsibilities

Must be knowledgeable of financial and project management functions. Develops budgets and work schedules according to project requirements. Responsible for cost estimation and control. Monitors project progress and makes adjustments as needed. Coordinates interdepartmental participation to meet project requirements. Maintains lines of communication among project team members. May be responsible for risk management. Must be available to address the needs of the project effort. May have acquired CAPM(PMI).

  • Reports project progress to management.
  • Responsible for addressing employee and work-related issues relevant to the project effort.
  • Arranges logistics for meetings, conferences, training, and other project-related events.
  • Organizes project committee meetings and prepares the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas, and other meeting collateral.
  • Transcribes and records key decisions and action items resulting from meetings.
  • Must be capable of performing various financial analytics including forecasting and variance analysis
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the project.

Depending on office supported, responsibilities could include the following:

Project Management

  • Provide program management support for IC Enterprise License Agreements (ELA) for software and IC-wide service contracts, to include monitoring current agency usage, establishing future needs, tracking procurement status, and gathering best practices.
  • Provide program management and system administrator support to guide implementation and operation of IC-wide software applications. This may include providing monthly assessments, participating in working groups, developing, and providing training, managing software updates and user accounts, and producing SOPs.

Cybersecurity

  • Assist service providers’ and partners in complying with USG and IC cybersecurity directives and policies.

Other

  • Facilitate oversight of key initiatives to include, but not limited to, Cloud Technologies; Endpoint Solutions; IT Security; Data Hosting; and IT Service Domain Integration.
  • Conduct analysis of projects and make recommendations to the government regarding cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
  • Requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Experience in developing and managing project plans for large enterprise organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize system deficiencies and make recommendations regarding implementation of effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated functional business process knowledge and experience in process transformation and implementation of enterprise-wide shared services.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse IC stakeholders to drive consensus and forward progress.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Min 3 years working with or in the IC.
