Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Manager. This position will create integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects, manage a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff, review, manage and control status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. This position will be located in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities
- With indirect supervision, provides leadership for IT software projects for all phases of the system development lifecycle to include initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing.
- Responsible for translating requirements into workable tasks and for overseeing the development of proposed solutions to meet business needs and achieve customer acceptance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's with 2-5 years (or commensurate experience)
- Considerable knowledge of the job. Complete understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and its application.
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
- Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects. Failure to obtain results would typically result in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
Strong experience with best practiced software development methodologies and frameworks. - Clearance Required: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
- Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or equivalent project management certification AOUSC

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Pay range: $82,000 - $130,000 Annually
