Responsibilities

 

GovCIO is looking for a candidate who has experience as a Technical Project Manager. You’ll be working with leaders in product design and engineering to manage product development, delivery and go-to-market execution for the Summit Data Platform (SDP). The SDP is made up of multiple product development teams, a few of which provide a platform for many other teams in the organization. You’ll lead programs and projects within the SDP, being the glue that holds them together and takes them to the finish line. Excellent collaboration and communication with other product teams and stakeholders will be a critical part of your success to ensure that dependencies are understood and managed well, and any discovered overlaps are resolved across the Autodesk construction products ecosystem.

 

You’ll be a central point of contact for the SDP to help them understand and adopt organizational standards and practices that enable teams to track their own progress, collaborate across the Data and Analytics Product Line and gain insight into how we can be more efficient. You’ll also work with the Veterans Experience Portfolio and Product Lines to develop processes that cater to them in helping them deliver business objectives and iterate to continually improve the way we work together.

 

A great project manager will be highly organized, communicative, and detail-oriented, with a sharp focus on on-time delivery and efficiency at all levels.

Directs all phases of projects from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. 

  1. Manages one or more projects of size and complexity
  2. Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives
  3. Must work directly with senior-level staff members to solicit requirements and strategies

Must have experience with diverse projects, with the ability to demonstrate plans with milestones and achievable actions

  1. Must have the ability to translate ambiguous requirements in a very fast paced environment and develop action plans
  1. Must have the ability to motivate and drive team members in a complex environment
  1. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program and project plans
  1. Must be able to provide oral and written discussion of analytical findings using narrative and graphic forms
  1. Must be able to lead multiple efforts in parallel and integrate the activities of multiple sub-teams and groups
  1. Must be able to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations and make sure the team’s work is aligning with OIT’s vision 
  1. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline
  • 10 years of experience
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience; may be substituted for education

 Required Skills and Experience

  • The candidate must have experience in the following areas:
    •  Conducting independent, complex analysis, concept formulation, and application of new methods.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Working knowledge of the DevSecOps model and mindset
  • Experience with agile teams
  • Experience managing projects and project reporting from Jira
  • VA Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated and current experience managing projects with ambiguous requirements
  • Knowledge of Objectives and Key Results (OKR) methodology and implementation

Compensation Range (In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for remote or positions located in CO)

$120,000-$130,000
