Overview

GovCIO is hiring for Requirements Writer to support the USPS onsite in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze systems, applications, and the customers business needs to develop requirements
  • Give a daily status of their progress
  • Write technical design approach documents
  • Provide information for technical specification updates
  • Meeting minutes after all calls
  • Gather technical requirements to write detailed user stories for application developers
  • Scheduling calls with mail.dat, mail.xml, shipping services file, Informed Delivery, and Informed Visibility
  • Completion of assigned tasks
  • Mailer Calls to include but not limited to PEEC, MTAC, MSDG, WG, US, and Mailer CAT calls
  • Troubleshoot mailers issues as well as help mailers integrate and test their software updates
  • Script review and Customer Acceptance Testing Support
  • Identify risks or technical issues with associated recommendations and proposed contingency
  • Weekly status updates for stakeholders and VPs
  • Telework is available but not guaranteed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with 8+ years of requirements writing experience experience (or commensurate experience)
  • Clearance Required: Ability to maintain a public trust clearance

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $108,310 - $152,000 Annually
