Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The SANDBAR Deputy Program Manager (DPM) is responsible for assisting the PM in managing and reporting all aspects of Task Order (TO) execution both internally and externally to USG stakeholders to including cost, schedule, and performance across the entirety of the Task Order.  The DPM is further responsible for assisting the PM with ensuring that all activities across the TO are fully coordinated for every Technical Direction Letter (TDL) and in support of every customer under the TO, this includes but is not limited to: 

  • Ensuring that every TDL received is executable based on scope and funding.
  • Ensuring funding on each TDL is aligned properly the requirements for execution and updating the alignment of funding during execution as required.
  • Completing and processing in excess of 500 purchase request forms and travel authorization forms per year and tracking each through completion and invoicing.
  • Ensuring Trip Reports are submitted with 10 business days of every trip completed across every TDL.
  • Ensuring that each PM operating under the TO managing TDLs is following the procedures established for SANDBAR and communicating with each on a regular basis to ensure transparency in execution.
  • Monitoring performance for every TDL on the TO and coordinating performance reviews with each of the PMs managing TDLs.
  • Reviewing and approving every Purchase Order/Task Order issued under SANDAR to ensure compliance and accuracy (average of 350 + per year).
  • Reviewing and approving monthly invoice submissions (300 plus pages) to the USG.
  • Writing the TO Monthly Status Report each month as one coherent product based on input from Subcontractors and PMs at approximately 40 + pages each month.
  • Briefing corporate leadership at all levels weekly on status of the TO to include execution of current TDLs, expectations on inbound TDLs, financial performance of the TO as a whole, risks and issues with performance by TDL.
  • Coordinating directly with the USG contract sponsor on a daily basis and the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) as required on all aspects of TO execution across every TDL on the TO.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
  • Experience supporting US Army, Navy, Airforce, Marine, Special Operations or Intelligence Community requirements and customers.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certifications in Program Management Level III
  • Experience with managing IDIQ type contracts
  • Experience with military specific program and project management
  • Experience and familiarity with GSA (preferably FEDSIM) as well as DoD acquisition organizations
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures
  • At least 5 years’ experience leading programs of similar scope and value
  • At least 5 years operational experience in the military

Starting at $150K
