Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Sr Capture Analyst to support business development for the Defense Services Group. This position will be a fully remote within the United States position.

Responsibilities

  • Works in close coordination with leadership and staff to develop and execute capture strategies for individual opportunities. Advances customer intel, competitive intel, pricing strategy, teaming strategy and pre-RFP proposal preparation to continually increase win probability.

     

    Supports all phases of Business Group Pursuits from inception through completion. Provides Capture Leadership and or Capture Support to Defense Service Group (DSG) bid opportunities.  Develops competitive intelligence practices and processes to enable effective capture. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to capture plans and schedules, identifies problems, and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or engagement approaches with customers and partners. Supports proposal writing and reviews Will maintain the accuracy of all Defense Services Group data within salesforce and coordinate as necessary with owning capture managers on opportunities they are primary for.  Leverage expertise and experience to propose and develop new methods for capture preparation, analysis of competition and determining capture readiness.

    • Communicates on a weekly basis with DSG leadership during weekly meetings and via a weekly capture report on the status of pipeline activities
    • Maintains aggressive efforts to achieve objectives.
    • Supports new business forecasts for financial performance.
    • Will work with and coordinate with existing project teams within DSG to gain insight on GovCIO capabilities and past performance
    • Leads cadence of meetings and activities to execute and report on on-going capture activities including status updates, call plan updates, black hat reviews, price to win exercises, pink team reviews, etc.
    • Presents status at recurring pipeline and/or stand-alone meetings.
    • Frequently briefs executive level personnel.
    • Creates, executes, and monitors B&P budget.
    • Maintains Salesforce records for assigned opportunities.
    • Travel as necessary to support customer engagements and conferences (travel is expected at approximately 25%)

     

Qualifications

High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

  • Clearance Required: Secret Eligibility



Preferred Skills and Experience: Shipley and Competitive Intelligence Trained

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $130,000 - $170,000 Annually
