  • Leads the cloud development team in migrating, rehosting, and developing capabilities matching the on-premises target system currently deployed. Manages the code repository, oversees branching, and determines when releases are pushed.
  • Assists with development tasks across the team and ensure coding standards and methodologies are documented and followed.
  • Demonstrates strong Java language skills in addition to under­standing the interfaces to managed platform services in AWS.
  • Produce skills in EC2 and related technol­ogies from a deployment, sizing, and scaling per­spective.
  • Will be responsible for the interconnection of all modules within the target environments Cloud System
  • Hold Agile Scrum standups and required meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
  • 5+ years experience AWS cloud infrastructure design in a networking capacity
  • 5+ years combined Java and Angular development experience
  • Extensive experience with multi-tenant cloud infrastructure design in a networking capacity within AWS
  • Strong understanding of DOD cloud governance, including CC-SRG, SCCA, CAP architectures, required to implement cloud services for DOD customers
  • Expert Knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting architecture, routing protocols and routing system architecture and design, access control lists, and firewall architecture
  • Experience with implementing infrastructure as code
  • Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
