Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior CM/ECF IT Training Specialist for our program with the US Courts. The Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) training team creates and delivers in-person and distance learning to the court community on CM/ECF and other proprietary software applications, and partners with other agencies to develop training. This position will be located in San Antonio, TX and is a hybrid remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver live instruction, both virtually and in-person.
  • Develop asynchronous distance-learning curricula.
  • Develop job aids and other documents using a set of vetted guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a creative, synergetic team.
  • Provide subject matter knowledge to other teams.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Produce professional quality work within tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
  • Translate content and create storyboards.
  • Write voiceover scripts for electronic learning modules.
  • Partner with other subject matter experts to obtain information, validate content, and evaluate the effectiveness of course delivery.
  • Use training tools and technologies to deliver effective design elements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's with 9+ years (or commensurate experience) 
  • 6 years of experience working and interacting with team environment.
  • 6 years of experience training adult learners.
  • 6 years of experience editing training materials.
  • Experience training adult learners on technical topics.
  • Experience conducting live training using video conferencing tools (ie Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.)
  • Experience working or training on the CM/ECF or NexGen programs
  • Ability to work and interact with others in a structured team environment.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and good organizational skills.
  • Self-motivation and the qualities of a self-starter.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging priorities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Business Objects, TechSmith Camtasia, Microsoft TEAMS, or Blackboard.
  • Excellent editing skills.
  • Clearance Required: Must be able to acquire and maintain Public Trust 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Federal or state court experience

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $81,850 - $83,000 Annually
