Responsibilities

 

  • Create and maintain complex PL/SQL packages spanning multiple schemas.
  • Maintain the existing applications and enhance the system as per client requirements.
  • Extensive Oracle database experience   
  • Recent Amazon Redshift experience
  • Modify existing batches to incorporate new functionalities.
  • UNIX Shell scripting 
  • Analyze system issues and devise and execute remediation plans.
  • Perform code reviews and bug fixing.
  • Conduct performance tuning of existing queries and packages.
  • Comply with all required standards and processes and devise approach to ensure compliance across the team.
  • Provide complete technical and maintenance support to the systems.
  • Run the assigned projects solo as well as working as a team.
  • Use of Oracle, Redshift, PL/SQL, SQL Developer, PuTTY, Shell Scripting, UNIX, and Linux.
  • Interact directly with the customer on behalf of the team to resolves issues or identify new requirements to be addressed by the team

  

Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fieldwith  8+ years (or commensurate experience)
  • 10 plus years of experience in IT
  • 7-8 years of PL/SQL development experience 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Maintains strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations
  • Exhibit confidence and knowledge in solving problems
  • Work well independently and within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willingness to learn and acquire new knowledge
  • Experience with Redshift database
  • Trust Clearance required and must have been within US for the last 5 years with no cumulative travel outside the US exceeding 6 months.

 

Desired Qualifications 

  • AWS experience 
  • Other database experience

Compensation Range (In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for remote or positions located in CO)

$128,000 - $132,000
