SharePoint/PowerBI Developer (Remote) #3226

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a SharePoint / PowerBI Developer. This position will be fully remote.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will maintain the current SharePoint, edit SharePoint lists, and create new lists and workflows. Working with a team of Site Reliability Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Vizualization Desingers, you will build dashboards using PowerBI that follow a modified SDLC, to include requirements, design, testing, implentation, and training. In addition to SharePoint development responsibilities, this role includes Information Management duties in which you will manage permissions and ensure information is properly stored, organized, and accessed. 

This position requires collaboration and coordination with teammates across varying functional areas, as well as frequent interaction with our Government client. As the SharePoint/PowerBI Subject Matter Expert, you will be expected to provide technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. 

• Maintain high standards of excellence with the team by estabishing and enforcing best practices.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of requirements, development of user stories, design documentation, and user guides. 
• Work with Project Managers to provide LOEs.
• Proactively communicate and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders. 
• Analyze detailed system factors including in put and output requirements, information flow, and alternative methods of problem resolution.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's with 8 years experience or High School diploma with 10 years relative experience (or commensurate experience)
• Expertise in developing and sustaining SharePoint and PowerBI 
• Analytical and investigative skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision
• Experience with code versioning and project management tools (e.g. Jira, GitHub, Teams, etc.)
• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US
• Clearance required: Suitability/Public Trust

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with VA and/or other Federal Agencies

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $100,000 - $120,000 Annually
