Responsibilities
- Provide effective program management and leadership over a 24/7/365 SOC, overseeing intrusion detection, incident response, and cyber workforce development, and ensuring that all contract requirements are met
- Manage the execution, documentation and timely approval of project deliverables, while controlling scope, executing the change management process as needed.
- Define requirements, milestones, and plan project lifecycle
- Schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish the results
- Maintain/manage staffing level across the program and on all shifts
- Supervise professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines
- Continuously monitor program performance, meeting all SLAs, and submitting deliverables on time
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables
- Establish and manage project cadence and governance including regularly scheduled status updates to Management Team and other stakeholders.
- Manage schedules and communicate variances
- Proactively identify, communicate and manage project risks and issues.
- Present and deliver quarterly senior-level program reviews
- Prepare, distribute and maintain all project documentation, including the Program Management Plan and Quality Control Plan, according to established processes and methodology
- Conduct project meetings and be responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting
- Motivate project team members to achieve project goals, create a project environment that enables peak performance by team members
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Develop team members and provide ongoing professional guidance and direction
- Assist program in complying with all company policies and procedures to include program management governance
- Identify, qualify, and assist with capture of new business opportunities
- Provide support to the development of both technical and cost proposals to perspective task orders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
- 14 years 9 months overall professional experience
- 14 years 9 months IT Security experience
- 13 years of program management experience
- 5+ years of related Government Contracting experience including managing complex programs/projects and staff
- 3+ years of experience managing IT systems and software security projects, including operations and maintenance
- Proven experience managing a 24/7/365 SOC
- Excellent verbal, written skills, including the ability to facilitate effective meetings and to develop and deliver presentations/materials to various levels of audiences
- High degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively with executive-level management and customers
- Resourceful and creative in solving problems and overcoming obstacles
- Attention to detail and highly organized
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP) required.
