Responsibilities

 

The Sr. Procurement Administrator/Small Business Liaison Officer will:

  • Conduct an aggressive outreach program to the small business community by actively participating in national, regional, and local conferences, trade shows, and other agency gatherings promoting company program initiatives, discussing subcontracting opportunities and networking with small businesses
  • Evaluates RFP requirements for Small Business utilization and participation providing subject matter expert recommendation to the proposal
  • Supports ability to collect, document, monitor, and analyze vendors for business size and small business classification compliance
  • Anticipates and monitors changes to Small Business regulations and assist with providing guidance to internal customers, Supports the review, research, analysis, and resolution of inquiries raised by DCMA Office of Small Business Programs, Small Business Administration or other federal government small business professionals
  • Develops and implements procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, Provides training and compliance on Agency required Small Business Subcontracting Plan and reporting requirements
  • Contributes to and ensures compliance with company contract specific small business subcontracting plan policy, Sources, negotiates, and purchases services, equipment and supplies to meet prime program requirements
  • Tracks, reports and selects suppliers based on past performance and other evaluation factors, Analyzes information to keep apprised of updates on commercial practices, price trends, manufacturing processes and identifies opportunities to leverage material acquisitions, Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers’ operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules
  • Participates as required in preparation for request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages, Aptitude to problem solve and develop technical solutions to complex problems which require ingenuity and creativity
  • Accountable for decisions and results that are long lasting and heavily influence the future course of the Company
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years (or commensurate experience) 
  • Ability to Perform contract negotiations
  • Contract analysis
  • Contract administration
  • Proposal preparation
  • Customer contact related to contract acquisition and fulfillment
  • Ability to prepare and manages NDA, TA, and RFI responses

Compensation Range (In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for remote or positions located in CO)

$90,000-$98,950
