Overview
Responsibilities
Creates automation playbooks to enforce policies and standards across the C2 infrastructure and enterprise resources where applicable and standards across the C2 infrastructure and enterprise resources where applicable. - Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement network/system security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Provides regular monitoring and analysis regarding short and long-range planning for in-house systems.
- Prepares or ensures that appropriate documentation exists, including operational instructions.
- Writes or modifies basic scripts to resolve performance problems and automate administration tasks.
- Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
- Duties will include application integration with directory services, assigning roles, provisioning hypervisors and storage for virtual infrastructure, as well as automated provisioning of guest operating systems and applications.
- Creation and maintenance of configuration items and other related documentation, in approved software version control system.
- Interfaces with ECJ3/ECJ2 customers in all aspects of GCCS-J and other Programs of Records as required.
- Monitors system performance and establishes performance baselines.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software.
- Performs regular backups and tests backups in recovery scenarios .
GCCS SME and respond to customer GCCS-J/I3 requests which vary widely Ensure COP availability to customer Maintain daily backups Install and maintain RHHI-V, Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Tower, GitLab Maintain database instances (Oracle, Sybase, PostgreSQL) Perform software updates and remediation scans Perform STIG validation against operating systems, application servers and databases Create, work, and solve service requests using trouble ticketing system Ensure server hardware is in working order and redundant Produce and maintain processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Maintain Red Hat JBoss application servers. Maintain and troubleshoot Enterprise Linux OS issues where they arise (RHEL6+, CentOS 6+) Troubleshoot Agile Client application issues.

Qualifications
Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
- Clearance Required: Secret
Must be able to obtain TS SCI
- Must be a current US Citizen
- Must currently hold a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI
- DoD 8570.1 Technical Level II Certification One of the following computing environment certification is required, will accept waiver if completed within 6 months of hire:
- Solaris Certified Systems Administrator (SCSA) , or higher
- Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), or higher
- CompTIA Linux +
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
- VMWare – VCP6-DCV or higher
- MCP – Windows Server 2012+
- TESA eligibility
Preferred Skills and Experience
- ITIL v3 or v4 – Foundation
- Experience in the following areas: Ansible, Puppet, Chef or any other automation system or product
- Demonstrated proficiency in a shell language such as Bash, Python, Perl or PowerShell
- Prior experience with Programs of Record and command and control systems such as GCCS-J, GCCS-A, GCCS-M, GCCS-AF, DCGS-A, DCGS-M, DCGS-AF, TMBCS, JADOCS, JTCW, AIDE, etc.
- CCNP Data Center
- Deploying Cisco ACI and HCI solutions
- Software Defined Networking
- Automation using Microsoft PowerShell, VBScript, or batch files
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Exchange, Active Directory, and SharePoint
- Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
- Experience with DoD IT security requirements
- Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Pay range: $85,000 - $105,000 Annually
