We are seeking a Tableau Developer to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics Services (EDAS) team supporting our federal client in Alexandria, VA.


  • Support the design and development of Tableau workbooks and data sources.
  • Gather and review report requirements; design Tableau solutions and develop reports and dashboards
  • Support performance enhancements and fixes to existing solutions.
  • Work with end users to troubleshoot Tableau workbook design issues

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s with 5 – 8 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Minimum 5 years’ Tableau Developer experience; demonstrated experience developing and supporting Reporting applications.
  • Experience with Tableau in developing data sources, sheets and workbooks
  • Designing and configuring the Tableau data sources.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills using MS Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working on data warehouse and business intelligence projects.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field of study.
  • Experience with installation and configuration of Tableau servers will be plus.
  • Knowledge working in Agile development.
  • Experience with operations and maintenance projects in a Tableau environment.
  • Experience working with federal government IT systems.
