GovCIO is looking for a Technical Analyst to join our Health PMO team. The candidate should have experience with a civil agency, preferably Veterans Affairs. The Technical Analyst will serve on a small team of Information Technology professionals who provide architecture support and advise on best practices to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Additionally, the Technical Analyst will develop and document IT architecture models and their lower-level components. They will assist with interpreting, using and applying information contained within IT architecture to inform a range of business improvement and transformation activities, particularly those involved in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of IT support systems.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain high level architecture or integration diagrams, interface control documentation and roadmaps for assigned products
- Manage and track technical data across products and teams for easy inquiry and in support of data calls
- Understands and meets client’s expectations
- Suggest modifications to roadmaps that align with higher organizational strategies and vision
- Participate in Analysis of Alternatives activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required, 5 to 7 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
- At least 5 years of Information Technology experience
- Experience in researching and documenting as-is and future state architectures
Required Skills and Experience
- Mature written, oral, and visual communication
- Demonstrated technical management experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Well versed in DevSecOps culture, processes, measures, and tooling
- Well versed in Visio and PowerPoint
- Experience in facilitating IT change management and configuration management processes
- Experience in developing and / or supporting feature-benefit and cost-benefit analyses
- Solid experience with Microsoft and other collaborative tools including Teams, SharePoint, Jira, etc.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- VA Office of Information Technology experience is a plus
- SAFe certified or significant experience in SAFe
- Experience in the design of enterprise technology
- Mural, Invision Freehand, or other visual remote collaboration tools
- Cameo Enterprise Architect experience
- Experience documenting complex systems of systems with system-to-system interaction.

Compensation Range (In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for remote or positions located in CO)
$105,000 - 115,000
