Serves as project-level manager for Service Desk knowledge-enabling technologies. Manages a technical team of up to fifteen staff supporting Cisco Call Center, ServiceNow, KM, and other systems as designated by management. Coordinates support across multiple platforms, ensures appropriate coverage, and manages 7×24 support for indicated systems. Ensures maximum system uptime in association with governing service agreements. Ensures appropriate response time to customer inquiries. Manages Change Management procedures in compliance with governing processes. Supports Service Desk staff in their efforts to comply with EPLC, C&A, and other management mandates. Ensures staff follows proper procedures in their day-to-day operations. Works with hosting services, physical plant managers, business owners, and other support partners to ensure continuity of operations.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline.
  • This position requires a minimum of ten years of experience, of which at least three years must be specialized technical experience.
  • Specialized technical experience includes system design, implementation, and integration across diverse platforms.
  • Three or more years of demonstrable development experience with either ServiceNow, Cisco Call Center, KNOVA, or COGNOS is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of project development from inception to deployment, expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms, demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts and/or Sub-contracts of various types and complexity.
  • End to end Project Management and PMP certified.
  • Demonstrated experience in ITIL processes and practices.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
