Responsibilities
- Support the requests of the production and development teams to solve any problems related with the Linux servers;
- Develop and oversee the backup, replication and disaster recovery strategies;
- Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations and programs;
- Manage and maintain the overall application and database health and administration of the DEASIL/LPR program
- Ensure the Linux servers adhere to NIST and Government Security agency standards;
- Perform server hardware maintenance and upgrades;
- Maintain the Red Hat Satellite system management solution for deployment and patching
- Install, configure and maintain servers in a mixed Windows and Linux environment;
- Maintain/monitor the health of the Linux servers through both automated and manual processes
- Provide guidance and direction for Linux system Journeyman and senior level colleagues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
- Must have active Secret or Top Secret DOD clearance and able to acquire DEA suitability
