GovCIO is looking for a Vice President, Operations. The Vice President, Operations is responsible for maintaining day-to-day operations in alignment to GovCIO’s goals. Accountable for productivity and resource management. Meets quality of service and performance targets in the most cost effective manner. Exercises relevant industry and security standards as defined by business requirements and industry standards. Accountable for employment, training, motivation, and assignment of tasks. Identifies opportunities for improvement and develops action plans. Provides guidance to subordinates to resolve issues and reports to senior management. Generally requires broad knowledge of various functionalities within the organization. Must have effective communication skills and exercises professional judgment.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for budgeting, monitoring costs, and profits & losses.
  • Makes decisions based on capabilities, resources, and objectives.
  • Ensures programs are aligned with contract objectives and within GovCIO’s business goals.
  • Ensures maximum issue resolution in minimum time in order to meet service level agreements.
  • Coordinates Program Managers and professional staff to adequately meet operational needs and expectations.
  • Serves as liaison with customers to resolve issues, receive feedback, and maintain positive client satisfaction.
  • Keeps abreast of industry best practices and trends, as well as new technologies, and then plans and advises during implementation.

 

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years and a Bachelors (or commensurate experience)

Compensation Range (In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for remote or positions located in CO)
