Overview

GovCIO is seeking experienced growth leaders to serve as the VP of Solution Architects within our Growth Enablement Team. The GovCIO growth enablement are key leaders in our business capture activities. The role of VP of Solution Architecture is part subject matter expert, part artist, part technologist, and part business analyst. 

Responsibilities

 

The Vice President of Solution Architecture should have substantive experience serving in leadership roles on Federal IT proposals, with prior experience serving as a technical solution architect, capture manager, or proposal manager. The Vice President of Solution Architecture should bring a strategic vision, leadership, and subject matter expertise to design, develop, integrate, operate, and sustain IT infrastructure. They should utilize methodologies guided by industry best practices like ITIL and leverages technologies like generative AI and cloud to support defensive cybersecurity and a multitude of other diverse mission sets. 

Qualifications



Required Skills and Experience

 

Masters Degree with 15+yrs exp (or commensurate)

  • Minimum of seven years of recent experience (within the last ten years) serving as a subject matter expert to lead, support, and advise large, multi-disciplinary teams performing IT infrastructure, cloud, cyber, end user support, and software projects in support of Government stakeholders to include experience modernizing customer IT environments.
  • The proven ability to own one or more sections of a proposal across a diverse range of topics
  • The proven ability to write, review, direct, and craft proposal sections regardless of the discipline, technology, or requirements of those sections
  • PMP cert
  • CISSP cert
  • ITIL 4 cert
  • Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI or ability to obtain

Desired Skills:

  • 5 yrs exp with Agile,Scrum or DevOPs
  • Active TS.SCI

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $240,000 - $250,000 Annually
