Under the EPA ESSET program, GovCIO delivers, manages, and enhances end-user devices, applications, and endpoint technology for the entire EPA workforce. This includes the delivery of secure, stable, and reliable IT services that support staff nationwide, both in office environments and in remote settings.
Recently, GovCIO advanced critical improvements aligned with the EPA Office of Information Technology Operations’ modernization strategy, including increased automation and integration of tools that reduce manual workload and enhanced operational visibility. Our early adoption of AI and machine learning capabilities leverage secure on-premise AI environments that analyze internal ITSM data to evaluate ticket quality, generate automated reporting, and identify trends that inform knowledge management, service desk performance, and operational improvements.
GovCIO continues to strengthen EPA’s enterprise customer experience by minimizing downtime, improving service consistency, and enhancing the productivity of support teams. Through the Infrastructure Technology Service Management framework, the program made meaningful progress toward more unified processes and better real time collaboration between EPA users, support staff, and contractors.
