NIH Objectives and Scope

This Program will provide timely, secure, and advanced CIT Network Services in support of the NIH mission and for CIT mandated, ever-evolving service demands and priorities.

The key high-level service goals of this program focus on enhancing IT customer service, expanding service capacity for industry-standard IT products, and improving efficiency through best practices. This includes adopting knowledge databases for better customer reporting, logging, tracking, and resolution of IT incidents and service requests, as well as proactively identifying and addressing root causes of technical incidents with specialized entities like NIH staff, vendors, or third parties before they become widespread issues.
