The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is the second largest Federal Department with over 278,000 employees. With its headquarters in Washington, District of Columbia, the VA field facilities throughout the Nation administered by three major line organizations: Veterans Health Administration, Veteran Benefits Administration and the National Cemetery Administration.

The Office of Information and Technology acts as a steward for all VA’s Information Technology assets and resources. Under OIT, the Network Security Operations Center within the VA Office of Information Security is responsible for defending, managing, and monitoring the network operating status and cyber security posture of the VA.

GovCIO has been providing services under this IDIQ award since 2016; cover all services from replacing WiFi to Rural, Virtual Lifetime Electronic Health Records to a more robust system dealing with Asset Management, Network Support, Solution Delivery Telecom Network Engineering Support, Remote Acc end Solution Integration Database Design and the Government web-based platform, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support.
