Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for End User Services Specialist support the USFK USACIAS-P program in the Republic of Korea (South Korea). This position will be located in USAG Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, Korea and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

  • Provides expert and second tier technical support and analysis to field engineers and technicians.
  • Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of Company technical products, programs and systems.
  • Provides expertise for the resolution of technical problems, troubleshoots products and modifies products to customer requirements.
  • Provides training to customers.
  • Travel is frequent and work is generally performed at the customer site.
  • Reviews system and network configurations to ensure successful implementation of services into production.
  • Provides expert and second tier technical support for the installation and repair of complex systems and outages.
  • Partners with developers and engineers to reduce re-occurring incidents.
  • Provides consultative assistance during off hours as needed.
  • Senior level knowledge of designated systems.
  • Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of designated systems and services.  
  • Applies senior diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.  
  • Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following detailed instructions.
  • Work is supervised. 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 0 - 2 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Clearance Level: Secret
  • Tests, trains and fields support to customers regarding technical aspects of designated systems and services.
  • Maintains network stability through advanced troubleshooting, timely resolution of incidents, and proactive maintenance to provide the maximum availability.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $65,000 - $85,000 Annually
