Logistics Engineer #4409

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Logistics Engineer to provide operation and integration support for an international multi-vendor infrastructure, including various networks, systems, and virtual training environment (VTE) vendors. This hybrid position will be located in Tampa, FL. On-site requirements are based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment. Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.

• Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.
• Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, production departments, and field service personnel to ensure meeting of contractual commitments.
• Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities.
• Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing, problems arising from location of operational area, and other factors, such as environmental and human factors affecting personnel.
• Develops and initiates preparation of handbooks, bulletins, and information systems to provide and supply logistics support.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE: SECRET

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School with 6 - 9 years experience
• Must have a valid US Passport and be prepared for international travel up to 40% at customer locations in Eastern Europe, Africa, and South America.

Preferred Skills and Experience: Relevant MS Degree and +2 Years; BS Degree and +4 years of relevant experience or HS Diploma + 6 years of relevant experience. Specific expertise, education, and training may be considered in place of a degree.

Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCM) or Certified Acquisitions Professional - Life Cycle Logistics Level 2 is highly desirable. Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and international clients.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $71,000 - $92,000 Annually
