Navy Operations Specialist Instructor #4173

Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Naval Operations Specialist Instructor to support our Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) Educational Support Services (ESS) effort. This position will be located in Jeddah, KSA and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Deliver, instruct, and facilitate instructor-led BASIC AND ADVANCED naval operations and officer qualification courses. Additional subject matter includes:

• Command Preparation course
• Advanced Operations Officer /Weapons Officer course
• Electronic Warfare Officer course
• Quartermaster Advanced Training
• Instructor Qualification course
• Naval Fire Control
• Navigation Officer Training
• Maneuvering Board Training
• Search and Rescue (SAR) Training
• Rules of the Road Refresher Training
• Allied Tactical Publication (ATP) I Volume II Familiarization
• Officer of the Deck (OOD) Refresher Training
• Radio Telephone Communications Procedures
• Combat Information Center (CIC) Training
• Damage Control Training

- Subject matter expert in general naval surface warfare.

- Support and provide input to the RSNF ESS courseware development team to ensure current and updated training materials.

- Implement RSNF student critiques into RSNF ESS training materials, as required.

- Prepare RSNF ESS Lesson Plans (LP) and ensure all Terminal and Enabling Objectives are effectively trained.

- Utilize RSNF ESS PowerPoint Presentations, Job Sheets, and visual aids to support the learning retention of RSNF students.

- Administer and grade RSNF ESS tests and exams.

- Qualify new RNF instructors as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and 2-5 years experience.

3 years experience instructing students in military programs - OR – five (5) years experience instructing students in military programs and certified as a military training specialist.

Shall have professional knowledge of Navy Training Management theories, policies, principles, procedures, and techniques.

Shall be United States citizen or Saudi national.

Preferred qualifications

Retired RSNF Warrant officer.

Former Operations officer onboard ship.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $61,850 - $96,950 Annually
