Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Coordinator to support the FSBS FVLF/LF program office with invoicing and purchase requests. This position will be located in Charleston, SC and will be a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

Must be knowledgeable of financial and project management functions. Develops budgets and work schedules according to project requirements. Responsible for cost estimation and control. Monitors project progress and makes adjustments as needed. Coordinates interdepartmental participation to meet project requirements. Maintains lines of communication among project team members. May be responsible for risk management. Must be available to address the needs of the project effort. May have acquired CAPM(PMI).

  • Reports project progress to management.
  • Responsible for addressing employee and work-related issues relevant to the project effort.
  • Arranges logistics for meetings, conferences, training, and other project-related events.
  • Organizes project committee meetings and prepares the necessary materials, including reports, presentations, agendas and other meeting collateral.
  • Transcribes and records key decisions and action items resulting from meetings.
  • Must be capable of performing various financial analytics including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the project.
  • Purchases materials, equipment, products, parts, and services in support of contracts.
  •  Monitors and selects suppliers based on performance and other factors. Compiles and analyzes information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. Identifies opportunities to leverage material acquisitions. 
  • Selects vendors and service providers. Responsible for following up with order. May participate in preparation for request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. 
  • Proven leadership abilities that enabled teams to achieve production targets and quality benchmarks while developing new processes and vendor relationships. 
  • Advises program personnel on most effective methods of procuring services. 
  • Enters purchase requests into the appropriate system based on vendor/subcontractor quotes. 
  • Review and process vendor invoices and application to purchase orders. 
  • Monitor purchase order expenditures and ensure alignment with requirements. 
  • Act as the invoicing liaison between our clients and Accounts Payable. 
  • Work with customer and internal agencies to promptly identify, document and resolve any exceptions or discrepancies in the invoicing process. 
  • Provide assistance in accounting related issues. 

Qualifications

High School with 3 - 6 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

          In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Pay range: $53,800 - $65,000 Annually
