Windows System Administrator: Work within a team to provide OS-level System Admin support to an infrastructure supporting 100+ application systems. Also provide support for the internal team, and applications used to maintain the customer and internal systems within the environment. Help maintain systems across multiple data centers to support a 99.995%+ uptime service level.  Work with the team to remediate security vulnerabilities. Candidate will have the opportunity to grow their skill set toward Cloud Administration. 


Technologies Used: Windows OS, Commvault, Ivanti, VMWare, Terraform, CloudFormation, RemedyForce and Service Now, SharePoint, SolarWinds, Security Center, MS Office products, Teams.


Required Qualifications/Responsibilities

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and proactive learner.
  • 3-5 Years of experience as a Windows System Administrator for Windows/OS 2012, 2016, or 2019.
  • Experience with Windows server builds/configuring/patching in an Enterprise virtual or stand-alone environment. (Experience configuring AWS EC2 is a plus.)
  • Experience with OS administration tasks dealing with user account maintenance, disk usage thresholds, system log continuity and investigating system alerts, diagnosing the cause, and troubleshooting to a resolution.
  • Ability to multi-task, addressing questions from customers and staff while working task at hand.
  • Be a part of an on-call, patch window rotation.
  • Familiarity with diagnosing Network issues from a systems perspective.
  • Experience documenting system configurations within the environment.
  • Experience providing support to internal team members for Windows related issues.
  • Experience with command-line tools/techniques to monitor servers.
  • Ability to work in a ticket-based reporting system.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
  • Must be a US Citizen.


Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems.
  • Good understanding of Domain environments. 
  • AWS Solutions Architect cert or in the process of obtaining certification.
  • Experience or training in AWS Cloud environments.
  • Experience with VMWare/vCenter environments.
  • Work experience with technical customers.
  • Experience in performance tuning and monitoring groups.
