Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator with an active Secret clearance to provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012/2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments. This position will be located in El Paso, Texas and will be a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical lead for a team of System Administrators.
- Collaborate with management to understand system needs.
- Recommend configurations to meet customer needs and document builds for approval.
- Administer large-scale Windows-based environments, commercial off-the-shelf applications, and government-developed enterprise applications.
- Administer and maintain enterprise management software.
- Provide Windows administration for Windows Server 2012/2016, server monitoring, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments.
- Configure, manage, and monitor Windows Internet Information Services (IIS) applications.
- Administer Linux and/or UNIX Operating Systems.
- Apply knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, SQL queries, and scripting.
- Use Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
- Provide Windows System Administration including Group Policy management, AD replication, AD PowerShell commands, LDAP queries, and Active Directory Service Interface Editor (ADSIEdit).
- Configure and manage virtual infrastructure technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Work with network monitoring tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and/or ScienceLogic SL1.
Qualifications
- High School with 10+ years systems administration (or commensurate experience).
- Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Pay range: $120,000 - $143,000 Annually
