WASHINGTON – GovCIO, a leading provider of advanced technical solutions and digital services to the federal government, is proud to announce that its partner, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has added a new dashboard within the GovCIO FDA Data Dashboard solution in support of the Laboratory Accreditation for Analyses of Foods (LAAF) Program.

The LAAF program improves the accuracy and reliability of certain food testing by unifying standards and enhancing FDA oversight of participating laboratories. Under the LAAF program, FDA recognizes accreditation bodies that will accredit laboratories to the standards established in the final rule. Learn more about the LAAF program here.

For the LAAF program, the new LAAF Dashboard will serve as the online public registry listing for information on participants in the LAAF Program. It provides the abilities to search, view, and export the lists of recognized accreditation bodies, LAAF-accredited laboratories, and each laboratory’s testing scopes. The dashboard also presents the public with user-friendly, digestible data, in a manner that allows for easy and effective use.

Since 2017, the GovCIO’s FDA Data Dashboard solution has provided users with advanced, user-friendly analysis tools that easily transform abstract administrative data into approachable graphical forms to reveal trends and drill-down data into narrower segments. Emphasizing user experience, the site balances sophisticated functionality with simple navigation, intuitive search, and clear visualizations.

In May, GovCIO received the 2022 FedHealthIT Innovation Award for its FDA Data Dashboard solution. Awardees are chosen based on their innovative emerging technology solutions and ability to deliver tangible results in support of their mission.
