GovCIO Awarded $65M Contract from Department of Veterans Affairs

WASHINGTON – GovCIO has been awarded a $65M contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Products Sustainment and Enhancement Services.

GovCIO will execute this five-year contract in partnership with VA OIT’s Software Product Management Office in support of the Education Veteran Readiness and Employment Product Line (EVREPL) within its Benefits and Memorials Services Portfolio. The EVREPL provides project management, technical expertise, and guidance in support of VA programs that provide greater access to education and training for eligible beneficiaries.

As the prime for the VR&E contract, GovCIO will work with EVREPL stakeholders to provide high quality, effective, and efficient IT services that enable VA programs that give Veterans the tools, counseling, and financial support to successfully transition from the military to civilian employment.

Applying an Agile and DevSecOps based approach and skilled GovCIO personnel, GovCIO will develop, operate, sustain, enhance, and integrate VR&E products and applications, helping to streamline systems, improve scalability, increase service availability, share and update data between related systems, and enable more efficient delivery.
