GovCIO Sponsors DEI&A Conference and Career Fair- DEITECH 2022

Washington, D.C. – GovCIO served as a platinum sponsor for DEITECH 2022, a virtually led DEI&A conference and career fair working to address the disparities of minority representation in technology and solve issues of access and opportunity in the industry.
DEITECH hosted 3,000+ attendees and featured dozens of informational sessions Oct. 24-27 about DEI&A with over 30 world-renowned activists, educators, and leaders. Throughout the event, attendees and organizations, like GovCIO, engaged in vital discussions regarding DEI&A in the workplace and networked with each other across interactive breakout sessions.
In addition, Megha Chokshi, GovCIO Senior Vice-President of Veteran & Enterprise Technology Services, participated as a DEITECH 2022 keynote speaker, presenting “I am a Transformer: My GovCIO Journey in Government IT.” Chokshi’s keynote presentation detailed how DEI&A contributes to growth, sustainability, and innovation in government IT and the importance of diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility in the industry.
