CCSS Background & CCSS 2.0 Objectives
The VA relies on Corporate Service Line to sustain and operate the internal business systems that power VA’s financial, procurement, human capital, and legal functions. These systems, organized across four mission-critical Product Lines: Financial Management Systems (FMS), Human Capital Management (HCM), Acquisition (ACQ), and Legal (LEG), are essential to delivering timely payments, maintaining fiscal accountability, managing the workforce, and complying with federal oversight mandates. While this service line supports distinct business domains, their interdependencies require unified sustainment that is responsive to policy shifts, fiscal year cycles, and regulatory milestones. CCSS 2.0 will work to deliver excellent sustainment on current operations, support data migration efforts, integrations, and stakeholder-driven enhancements.
